Lucy Robertson
Biography
Lucy is a mid-level associate in Baker McKenzie's IP and Technology team based in London. Lucy joined the Firm as a trainee solicitor in September 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in September 2022.
During her time at the Firm, Lucy completed a six-month client secondment with a leading global consumer goods company where she closely advised the client's business teams on a range of IP, brand protection and commercial matters. The secondment experience has provided Lucy with invaluable insight into the practical challenges and issues facing clients.

Lucy's practice encompasses a broad range of legal areas, covering IP, commercial law and consumer protection across a diverse range of industries, with a specific focus and interest on the consumer goods and retail sectors, as well as pharmaceutical and healthcare.

- Advised a leading consumer healthcare company on the IP aspects of the disposal of its ex-US nicotine replacement therapy business.
- Advised Kantar Group on the IP aspects of its billion dollar disposal of its Media business.
- Advised a leading retail company on various brand protection and management matters, including assisting with its trade mark and patent strategies.
- Advised Surgical Science Sweden AB on its strategic bid of Intelligent Ultrasound Group Plc.

- Advised a global food and beverage business on making certain strategic updates to its arrangements with marketing agencies.
