Derek Rhea
Biography
Derek is an associate in the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group based in Dallas and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. His practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, patent prosecution, and technology transactions. He attended the University of Illinois – Chicago School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude, served as Managing Editor of the UIC Law Review, and was a member of the IP Patent Clinic.
Derek also served as a judicial extern at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to law school, he received his BS Physics from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
