Biography

Sofia Ramírez Gutiérrez Zetina is an associate in Baker McKenzie’s Guadalajara office and a member of the Firm’s Transactional Practice Group. Her practice focuses on corporate governance, corporate compliance, and general corporate matters. She regularly advises domestic and multinational companies on a broad range of corporate transactions and governance matters, including corporate restructurings, capital transactions, ongoing corporate maintenance, regulatory compliance, and the organization of Mexican subsidiaries.

Sofia has experience supporting clients across multiple industries in connection with complex corporate projects, involving the preparation and implementation of corporate approvals, governance documentation, powers of attorney, and compliance initiatives.
