Philipp A. Ruchti-Baltensperger
Biography
Philipp Ruchti-Baltensperger is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Zurich office and a member of the Firm's Real Estate and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Groups. He gained broad practical experience through traineeships at leading law firms in Zurich and St. Gallen before joining Baker McKenzie in 2023. Philipp holds a master's degree in law and economics from the University of St. Gallen and was admitted to the Swiss bar in 2022. He later pursued an LL.M. at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, graduating with honors in 2026.
Practice Focus
Philipp advises domestic and international clients on real estate transactions and development projects. His real estate practice also covers real estate financing, tenancy and construction matters. In addition, he advises clients across a range of industries on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate reorganizations, as well as general corporate, commercial and contract law.
