Piotr Pawłowski
Biography
Piotr Pawłowski, LL.M. is a member of the Corporate/M&A team at the Warsaw office of Baker McKenzie. He received his legal education in Poland and the Netherlands, where he completed a specialization in M&A transactions as well as in International and European Business Law. He is an attorney-at law admitted to practice in Poland. In his practice Piotr focuses on corporate and commercial law, in particular M&A transactions.
Practice Focus
Piotr focuses his practice on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and global reorganizations. He is experienced in mergers and acquisitions in various sectors with a focus on manufacturing, food services, energy (renewables), IT and healthcare. He has extensive experience in leading multijurisdictional due diligence projects and has been involved in numerous significant cross-border transactions. Piotr also advises clients on day-to-day corporate maintenance and complex reorganization projects.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised the founders on the sale of a majority stake in Nice to Fit You (NTFY) to MCI Capital, in a highly complex challenging transaction.
- Advised SPIE on the acquisition of Elektromontaż Poznań S.A., a leading provider of electrical installation services, sanitary, HVAC installation and manufacturer of power equipment (including performance of due diligence).
- Advised SPIE on the acquisition of General Property, a company specialising in facility management.
- Advised Etex, a global manufacturer of building materials, on the acquisition of Scalamid, a manufacturer of fibre-cement panels.
