
Anthony Pang
Biography
Anthony Pang is a special counsel in Baker McKenzie's Hong Kong office and a member of our Capital Markets Practice Group.
Anthony focuses on corporate matters including corporate finance, initial public offering, merger and acquisition, private equity and compliance and regulatory matters in relation to Hong Kong listing rules and others such as Securities and Futures Ordinance, Companies Ordinance and Takeovers Code.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised Xiaomi Corporation on USD 5.4 billion IPO listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This was the first dual-class share listing in Hong Kong's history and an innovative technology company listed under the new regime.
- Advised Kanzhun Limited, operating the app of Boss Zhipin, on the dual primary listing by way of introduction.
- Advised Meituan Dianping on USD 4.2 billion and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Advised Dmall Inc. on its IPO of USD 100 million and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
- Advised China Literature Limited on USD 1.06 billion IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, thereby being spun off from Tencent Holdings Limited.
- Advised Cloud Village Inc on the spin-off from NetEase and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange through an IPO of USD 421 million.
- Advised Bairong Inc. on its IPO of USD 570 million and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This was a dual-class share listing and an innovative technology company listed under the new regime.
- Advised ZhongAn Online P&C Insurance Co., Ltd. on its IPO of USD 1.525 billion in H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. This listing was the world's first "InsurTech" IPO.
- Advised Yuanxin Technology Group on the proposed initial public offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Received the filing notice from the China Securities Regulatory Commission and passed the hearing of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange).
- Advised Yidu Tech Inc. on USD 531 million IPO and listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
