Mark Nemeth
Biography
Mag. Mark Nemeth is a junior associate in Baker McKenzie’s Commercial team in Vienna. Prior to joining the firm in January 2023, he obtained professional experience as a judicial clerk at the Higher Regional Court of Vienna and as a paralegal in several Viennese law firms. He holds degrees in law and Transcultural Communication at the University of Vienna. He gained international experience as an exchange student at the Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas and at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In August 2025, he passed the Austrian bar exam with distinction.
Practice Focus
Mark advises multinational and domestic clients on large‑scale BPO and IT outsourcing transactions and technology procurement. He also has a strong focus on the life sciences sector, with a particular emphasis on regulatory matters and disputes. Complementing these core areas, Mark draws on extensive experience in consumer protection, regularly advising clients on compliance and representing them in proceedings against consumer protection organizations and individual plaintiffs.
