Biography

Caroline Mouchet is a junior associate in the Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Practice Group in the Brussels office. She joined Baker McKenzie in 2021.

Caroline is doing her bar traineeship at the Brussels bar.

Practice Focus

Caroline advises and assists national and international clients in their contentious matters before judicial courts and arbitral tribunals.

Her practice also consists in assisting clients in regulatory and compliance issues, and more generally in all legal aspects of business and commercial law as well as in the fields of insolvency, public procurement and distribution laws.

Her practice also includes advising clients with questions regarding consumer and e-commerce law.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Assisted and represented a worldwide leading IT company in a major international construction arbitration. 
  • Represented leading telecommunications company, in a very complex and high-profile public procurement dispute against one of its competitors with respect to the award of a multibillion public contract.
  • Assisted an international client with filing multiple pleas for suspension and annulment of administrative decision concerning the operation of private security services with the Belgian Council of State.
  • Assisted and represented a leading High-Tech retailer in a major construction litigation involving its landlord, architects, general contractors and promoters.
