Biography

Daniela Liévano Bahamón graduated from Los Andes University, focused on Labor and Employment Law in the Javeriana University in Bogota, and coursed a master in laws in Columbia University, New York. Daniela is a partner in the Labor and Employment practice since January 2024.

Practice Focus

Daniela focuses her practice on providing legal advice on administrative matters before local government entities such as the UGPP, the National Apprenticeship Service, the Colombian Family Welfare Institute and Family Compensation Bureaus. She also advises on union matters, individual employment agreements, expatriates management, mechanisms and alternatives for outsourcing of services, and corporate social responsibility. She assists in litigation before the labor and employment contentious jurisdiction, preparation and implementation of ordinary and extraordinary compensation schemes as well as the establishment of payroll parameters, preparation and implementation of corporate policies, due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and in the drafting and implementation of voluntary retirement plans.
