Biography
Abinayaa is a general associate in the Construction Team with extensive experience in the construction industry across major and complex commercial, industrial, residential and mixed-use projects in the energy, renewables, healthcare, retail and hospitality sectors.
Practice Focus
Abinayaa acts for a broad range of local and international clients, including developer and contractor levels. Abinayaa predominantly advises clients on "front-end" project matters, ranging from project procurement models to the project delivery phase where she provides contract preparation and administration-related advice.
Abinayaa's practice focuses on preparing, reviewing, negotiating and advising on complex construction and projects-related legal documents (which includes EPC, D&C, Construct-only, ECI, consultancy and supply agreements and other bespoke project documents) and the tailoring of standard form contracts in Australia.

- Advised Lewis Land Group, a large Australian-owned and operated private development group, on its AUD 1.5 billion large-scale, waterfront mixed-use development in Gold Coast.
- Advising Landream in relation its mixed-use development comprising residential, commercial, retail, childcare and indoor recreation centre in Pyrmont valued at AUD 900 million.
- Advised an Australian-owned and operated private development group on its AUD 200 million luxury residential development in Circular Quay.
- Advised Apt.Residential, a vertically integrated owner, developer and operator of residential properties in Australia, on the development of its AUD 178 million mixed-use build-to-rent precinct.
- Advised Spark Renewables in relation to its renewable energy project risks, structuring arrangements on its wind, solar and BESS projects under development across Australia.
- Advised Fluence in relation to its balance-of-plant contracts for use in large-scale developments of BESS projects in NSW, Victoria, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.
- Advised Valent Energy in relation to its equipment supply, services, and balance of plant arrangements for the 240MW Mornington BESS and Pine Lodge BESS projects.
- Advised GE Vernova in relation to its transportation, craneage and installation arrangements for its on-shore windfarm projects in Australia.
