Biography

Beat König is an associate of Baker McKenzie's IPTech Team in Vienna. Prior joining the Firm in October 2021, he obtained professional experience at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in São Paulo, as a judicial clerk at the Higher Regional Court Vienna and as an attorney candidate at a Viennese boutique law firm with its main focus on investor protection litigation and capital markets law. He studied law at the University of Vienna and the University of Stockholm and holds a post-graduate LL.M. degree in European and International Business Law from the University of Vienna.

Practice Focus

Beat advises multinational and domestic clients on telecommunications law, software licensing, data protection, IT outsourcing, patent law, trademark law, copyright, cyber security, e-commerce matters and related litigation.
