Javier Jazo Díaz
Biography
Javier has more than 5 years of litigation experience. He joined Baker McKenzie in 2021. He has previous experience as a paralegal in another law firm in the area of amparo and commercial litigation and is currently a junior associate in the litigation area wherein he provides support to the team and clients in trials of various branches but focuses on federal constitutional, local and federal civil proceedings and bankruptcy. He has participated in several projects of debt recovery and defense of interests and rights of our clients. He served as Secretary of Transparency of the Student Executive Committee of the Legal Studies Division of the University of Guadalajara during the period 2021-2022. In pro bono cases, he has advised people who aspire to set up a small company on how to do so.
Practice Focus
Javier's main areas of practice are indirect and direct amparo proceedings, local and federal civil and commercial proceedings, as well as commercial bankruptcy proceedings.

- Participated in trials of national and foreign companies to recover amounts of money owed.
- Participated in different federal constitutional proceedings representing national and foreign companies in which he supported the drafting of various motions and appeals.
