Biography

Elin Jansson Holmberg is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Dispute Resolution Practice Group in Stockholm. She joined Baker McKenzie as an associate in 2026.

Prior to joining the Firm, Elin held several judicial positions within the Swedish court system. After clerking at Stockholm District Court and Svea Court of Appeal, she served as a Junior Judge at Stockholm District Court, handling a broad range of civil and commercial disputes as well as matters involving international criminal law. She later served as an Associate Judge at Svea Court of Appeal and the Land and Environment Court of Appeal.

Elin has also served both as a Legal Advisor in the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, where she worked on proceedings before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), as well as a reporting clerk at the Judges Proposals Board and the Nationel Board for Consumer Disputes.

Practice Focus

Elin focuses her practice mainly on litigation and arbitration. She assists clients in various types of disputes within the fields of commercial law.
