Biography

Štěpán Hron is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate & Environmental practice group in Prague.

Practice Focus

Štěpán advises domestic and international clients on a variety of real estate and environmental matters. His practice focuses on real estate transactions, commercial leases, construction matters, and due diligence investigations.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Advised RC Europe, a major development and investment group, on the preparation of comprehensive contractual documentation for the green field development and subsequent leasing of a logistics park in Croatia with approximately 83,000 sqm of warehouse space.
  • Advised Novo Nordisk, a leading global healthcare company, on their acquisition of a production facility in Bohumil (Jevany), Czech Republic, from a US-based biotechnology company Novavax, including a state-of-the-art recombinant protein manufacturing facility with support buildings and the transfer of more than 300 employees.
  • Advised a major development and investment group on the preparation of lease contractual documentation for the development of a green field logistics with planned offer of 48,000 sqm of warehouse and production space in three buildings.
  • Advised a multinational technology company on a strategically significant and landmark Prague office leasing project concerning a 13,000 square meter flagship lease of prime office space.
  • Advised on the sale and leaseback of a portfolio of production facilities from our client, a major multinational producer of food and beverages, across multiple jurisdictions, comprising two major production plants in the Czech Republic and one in Slovakia.
  • Advised a leading global provider of private education, with drafting, negotiations and signing a Future Lease Agreement for the development of a new built-to-suit school campus, including outdoors sports complex, in Prague which would accommodate approximately 600 pupils.
  • Advised multiple international clients on the negotiation and renewal of retail leases at major shopping centres and luxury addresses in the Czech Republic.
