Biography

Chenise Howe is a senior economist in Baker McKenzie’s London Transfer Pricing team, focusing on transfer pricing planning and controversy. Her work spans HMRC enquiries, PDCF submissions and APA/MAP strategy, as well as broader transfer pricing matters including transfer pricing compliance, the interaction between customs and transfer pricing and IP and business valuation.

Practice Focus

Chenise focuses on transfer pricing controversy and dispute resolution, advising clients on HMRC enquiries, the PDCF process, APAs and MAPs and broader audit preparedness. She supports multinational groups by developing economic narratives, assessing value creation, and preparing robust defence materials for contentious or high scrutiny transactions.

Her work spans industries including retail, pharmaceutical, technology and consumer goods, often requiring multi jurisdictional coordination and close collaboration with teams across several markets. Chenise’s practice is centred on helping clients navigate complex tax authority interactions and achieve practical, defensible outcomes.
