Loyal T. Horsley
Biography
Loyal T. Horsley is counsel in Baker McKenzie's Transactional Practice Group, based in the Firm’s Washington DC office.
Prior to joining the Firm, Loyal served as in-house counsel for the payments group of a global e-commerce and cloud services company and for a high-growth fin-tech firm specializing in B2C payment distribution, overseeing all regulatory, transactional and corporate matters. She also worked in the payments and emerging financial services group of another international law firm.
Practice Focus
Loyal regularly advises clients on complex legal and regulatory matters across global financial services, with a focus on payments and credit, including structuring innovative financial products, navigating multi-jurisdictional licensing regimes, supporting strategic business transformations, and advising on other emerging financial services and payment technologies. She also advises clients on investments, acquisitions, and sales of bank and non-bank financial institutions.
