Biography
Fabian is an associate and a member of Baker McKenzie’s Corporate/M&A practice. He worked in the Taipei office of Baker McKenzie for several months in 2021. After completing his legal studies in Germany, Fabian has studied law and Mandarin at National Taiwan University. He is also a member of the German-Chinese Jurists Association (DCJV).
Practice Focus
Fabian advises German and international clients on cross border M&A transactions, including complex carve outs and restructurings, as well as on the full spectrum of corporate law matters. His practice concentrates on international M&A, joint ventures and private equity transactions, where he routinely supports clients through all stages of the deal cycle.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised a leading Chinese automotive supplier on the acquisition of a leading German automotive supplier for a purchase price of approximately EUR 170 million.
- Advised UBE Corporation, on its acquisition of LANXESS's Urethane Systems business for approx. EUR 500 million in a competitive auction.
- Advised JD.com on the announced EUR 2.2 billion public takeover offer for Ceconomy.
- Advised Dassault Systèmes’ subsidiary Centric Software, the Product Lifecycle Management market leader, on the acquisition of Contentserv Group, a leading provider of product information management systems.
- Advised Pacoma Holding S.à.r.l. on the sale of the Pacoma Group to the US group Legget & Platt (L&P).
