Biography

Rylie Hayes is an associate in the Litigation and Government Enforcement Practice Group in the Dallas office. Rylie began her career at Baker McKenzie as a summer associate in 2020. In law school, Rylie served as an articles editor for the SMU Law Review Association and externed with in-house counsel of a global corporation.

Practice Focus

Rylie represents clients in state and federal court proceedings as well as in domestic and international disputes across several industries. Her practice encompasses nearly all aspects of litigation, and she advises clients in all litigation phases.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Represented a surviving spouse of an investor in the franchise restaurant business in buyout dispute involving claims for breach of fiduciary duty and fraud, resulting in a USD 28 million AAA arbitration award.
  • Represented a private drilling and exploration company in multiple workplace employment investigations, including related litigations in state and federal court.
