Biography

Melanie is an energy and infrastructure lawyer with a focus on major projects across a broad range of sectors, including renewable energy, transportation, water, healthcare and commercial developments. She has previously worked in the Middle East and is also a former general counsel.

Practice Focus

Melanie advises on a wide range of infrastructure and energy projects and drafts and negotiates complex contractual documentation for major projects, including in the water, transportation, education, healthcare and oil and gas sectors. Melanie has significant experience working on PPPs, EPC, O&M, D&C and construct-only contracts and various relationship based models, including delivery partner and alliancing. Melanie is experienced in the renewable energy sector, having worked on wind, solar, battery, hydrogen and energy from waste projects. She also advises on power purchase agreements and connection agreements.
