Daniel Fajardo Mendoza
Biography
Daniel is an associate in the competition law, consumer protection, and personal data protection practices, areas in which he has over five years of experience.
Daniel was a junior associate at Baker McKenzie between 2020 and 2022 and returned to the Firm in 2025.
He finished law at the Universidad de los Andes, specialized in competition law at the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and earned his a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European and international business law from Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Practice Focus
His experience focuses on advising clients on merger control, as well as in litigation involving unfair competition and anticompetitive practices. Additionally, Daniel has experience advising clients in judicial proceedings and administrative investigations related to consumer protection and personal data protection.
