Adnan’s practice focuses on public and private M&A, including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, strategic investments and growth capital investments. He advises corporates, financial sponsors and sovereign wealth funds on a range of key strategic transactions. His sector focus spans energy and infrastructure, technology and e-commerce, consumer goods and retail and healthcare and life sciences. He is recognized in Band 2 by Chambers Global and as a Next Generation Partner by The Legal 500.

• Advised Ooredoo Group on its strategic USD 800 million investment in Zankore, a dedicated AI compute and neocloud platform launched alongside Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (IOH), NVIDIA and Nokia.
• Advised Ooredoo Group on the sale of a minority equity stake in their carrier-neutral data centre company, MENA Digital Hub, to Iron Mountain, a global leader in information management services for USD 1 billion.
• Advised Ooredoo Group and Syntys on the acquisition of Q Data QFZ LLC, an operator of hyperscale data center facilities in Qatar, serving leading cloud and AI customers from Doha Venture Capital.
• Advised G42 its acquisition of CPX, a leading cyber security business in the UAE from Tawazun Holding.
• Advised Ashmore Group on the establishment of its emerging markets healthcare investment vehicle, including related investments from strategic partners.
• Advised Georg Fischer on its acquisition of Corys Piping Systems, a leading manufacturer of engineered sustainable piping systems for the construction market in the Middle East region, based in Dubai, from Green Coast Enterprises.
• Advised Sunset Hospitality Group on its acquisition of a majority interest in Maximal Concepts Holding, a Hong Kong-based hospitality group with operations across 12 jurisdictions.
• Advised ADNOC Distribution on its partnership with Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) to launch E2Go, a joint venture responsible for the development and provision of the electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the UAE.
• Advised G42 on its regional technology joint venture with Nesma Holdings.
• Advised Saint-Gobain on the acquisition of a regional mining business.
• Advised EIH Ethmar International holding on the acquisition of a minority stake in Equiti, a UAE based brokerage business.
• Advised Tanmiah Food Company on its joint venture with MHP, a leading European food and agrotech company listed on the London Stock Exchange.
• Advised Ooredoo Group on the proposed acquisition of a 75% stake in Transtelecom JSC from Unit Telecom TOO for USD 300 million and acquisition of a 51% stake in KCell, a listed mobile telecommunications company for USD 600 million.
