Karla Mae D. Dela Cruz
Biography
Karla Mae D. Dela Cruz is an associate in Quisumbing Torres’ Tax Practice Group.
Karla obtained her Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023. She is also a certified public accountant.
Prior to joining Quisumbing Torres, she worked in the Legal and Compliance Department of a group of hospitals and was an extern in the Court of Tax Appeals. While in law school, Karla served as a director of a marketing firm and was a legal assistant in the Supreme Court.
Practice Focus
Karla’s practice focuses on tax advisory for domestic and international clients, including tax planning and structuring, corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and cross-border transactions. She also assists clients in tax controversy and disputes, including administrative proceedings before tax authorities and tax cases before the courts. Karla likewise advises on customs, international trade, and regulatory compliance matters.
