Biography
Berenice Joanna G. Dela Cruz is an associate at Quisumbing Torres’ Intellectual Property, Data and Technology Practice Group.
She graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Law in 2022, ranking 5th in her class. She was awarded the Dean's Medal for Academic Excellence and received commendations for her participation in several international moot court competitions.
Practice Focus
Berenice’s practice focuses on intellectual property, data privacy, cybersecurity, and technology. She advises clients on brand protection, trademark portfolio management, anti-counterfeiting and enforcement strategies, IP disputes and administrative proceedings, and data privacy compliance and governance.
She also has extensive litigation experience, including assisting in civil, criminal, and administrative disputes before courts, regulatory agencies, and quasi-judicial bodies.
Her experience also includes technology and digital-services regulation, commercial and licensing arrangements, contract review, legal due diligence, and the development of practical compliance strategies for cross-border and technology-driven businesses.
