Biography
As a senior consultant in the Baker McKenzie Taipei office, Tom specializes in the fields of energy and corporate commercial law.
Before joining the Baker McKenzie Taipei office, Tom worked as an associate in law firms in Singapore in which he advised and represented clients on financial regulatory and banking and finance matters, employment and real estate. He previously also served as an in-house counsel for a Singapore government-linked healthcare IT company.

Tom focuses on Corporate Commercial and Renewable Energy Projects.
Representative Legal Matters
- Assisted Japanese solar project developers in drafting and negotiating EPC and Operation and Maintenance Contracts.
- Prepared memorandum of advice on Taiwan's regulatory regime for the development of solar and offshore wind farm projects.
- Assisted a Danish corporation in drafting and negotiating offshore wind farm project documents with its contractors including geotechnical survey agreement and supply of Lidar agreement.
- Assisted solar developers and offshore windfarm developers in drafting and negotiating corporate power purchase agreements.
