Biography
Charlotte is a partner in Baker McKenzie's Taipei office. She has extensive experience advising and representing local and international clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate, capital market as well as real estate related matters.
Representative Legal Matters
- Acted for Taishin Financial Holding Company in its merger with Shin Kong Financial Holding Company (deal of the year 2024).
- Acted for E.SUN Financial Holding Company in its acquisition of majority shares in PGIM Securities Investment Trust Enterprise from Prudential group.
- Represented BizLink, a Cayman company listed in Taiwan, on its acquisition of the carved-out industrial solution assets of Leoni AG (awarded "Most Representative M&A Deal of the Year," "Most Influential M&A Deal," and "Best Cross-Border M&A Deal" at the Taiwan Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity Council in 2022).
- Assisted Cigna group in its sale of accident and health (A&H) and life business to Chubb group.
- Represented a US company with private equity sponsor in its acquisition of a Taiwan public company.
- Represented a Swiss-based company in energy sector in its joint venture with a Taiwan company.
- Represented a Taiwan company in the sale of minority stake to its client, a German optic company.
- Assisted in multiple IPOs (including CyCraft-KY, Aihora, Lian Fa (Share tea), AES-KY).
- Represented an international luxury hotel in their new opening in Taiwan.
