Biography
Madeline Carr is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group, based in Washington, DC. Prior to joining the Firm, Madeline worked at another international law firm where she provided counsel on several state and federal antitrust and telecommunications matters including merger control, investigations, compliance, and complex litigation.
Practice Focus
Madeline represents clients in various antitrust matters, including US merger control compliance, antitrust considerations in M&A, regulatory reviews, litigation, private disputes, government investigations, and the development of robust compliance programs.
Representative Legal Matters
- Acted as counsel for the defendant in In re: Concrete and Cement Additives Antitrust Litigation in the Southern District of New York alleging price-fixing claims.
- Acted as counsel for a confidential client in DOJ antitrust probe into algorithmic pricing.
- Acted as counsel for a multinational consumer goods client in global price-fixing case across North America and EMEA.
- Secured dismissal of DOJ challenge of a travel industry merger.*
