Biography

Seher Budak is a member of Baker McKenzie's International Commercial & Trade Group in Stockholm. She joined the Firm in September 2017.

Prior to joining the Firm, she was a trainee at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, working with free trade agreements and anti-dumping-related matters.

Practice Focus

Seher focuses her practice on commercial agreements, international trade compliance and product compliance matters. She regularly advises clients on developing and implementing trade compliance procedures, dealing with third party control procedures, export controls and sanctions. Seher also provides legal advice on regulatory issues regarding the market access, manufacturing, distribution and advertising of products, with a main focus on high tech products, medical devices and medicinal products.

Seher assists clients in negotiating and drafting commercial agreements and supports clients in optimizing sustainable supply chain strategies. She also supports clients with national security and foreign direct investment (FDI) review strategy in cross-border transactions, including obtaining timely approval of transactions consistent with deal objectives.
