Biography

Cristina is a counsel in Baker McKenzie Italy's Employment Practice Group. She is a trusted advisor to domestic and multinational employers on complex employment law and HR matters, assisting clients in managing legal risk, implementing workforce strategies and navigating sensitive workplace issues, for over 10 years. Cristina advises companies across a broad range of industries, with particular experience in the fashion, luxury and retail sectors. She is recognized for her pragmatic and business-oriented approach to high-stakes employment matters, including workforce restructurings, workplace investigations and compensation and benefits. 

Practice Focus

Her practice focuses on complex employment terminations, particularly involving senior executives and key management personnel, assisting clients with strategy development, risk assessment and the negotiation of separation arrangements. Cristina also advises on workplace investigations, including allegations of harassment and breaches of corporate policies, supporting clients throughout the entire process, from the initial assessment to the management of disciplinary outcomes. She regularly assists clients with employment compliance matters, including the review and implementation of company policies, codes of conduct, disciplinary procedures and HR governance frameworks. Cristina further provides ongoing advice on compensation and benefits matters, including incentive and equity-based compensation plans.
