Baker McKenzie was recognized by LatinFinance at its 2026 Latin Finance Deals of the Year Awards for its work on leading transactions across Latin America.

The Firm was named a winner in the Sovereign Local Currency Deal of the Year category for advising on the Republic of Peru’s PEN10.0 billion 6.850% senior unsecured notes due 2035, one of the region’s most significant sovereign issuances of the year. In addition, Baker McKenzie received Honorable Mention recognition for its role in Gruma’s USD800 million 10‑ and 30‑year bond offering.

Separately, Fibra Uno was named Sustainable Issuer of the Year – Corporate, with recognition given for its activities throughout the year, including its US$800 million sustainability‑linked notes offering, a transaction on which Baker McKenzie advised.
