Globally, Baker McKenzie announced the promotion of 59 lawyers to partner1, effective 1 July 2025, with the exception of colleagues based in North America and some locations in Latin America, whose promotions took effect earlier in calendar year 2025. With 48 lateral partners also joining Baker McKenzie's offices1 this financial year, the Firm has added a total of 107 partners globally since 1 July 2024.

Slavomír leads the Restructuring and Insolvency practice of Baker McKenzie's Prague office. He advises on pre-insolvency restructurings, insolvency reorganizations and bankruptcies. Slavomir primarily represents insolvency trustees, creditors, insolvent debtors and investors. He regularly provides legal advice in the largest cases, such as the current insolvency proceedings of Sberbank CZ, Liberty Ostrava, Arca Investments, WPB Capital, Solek and others. Baker McKenzie's Prague restructuring and insolvency practice is one of the most sought-after in the Czech market.

Slavomir is recognized by Chambers and Partners as one of the leading figures in the field of restructuring and insolvency. He is also the co-author of the 6th edition of the Commentary to the Czech Insolvency Act, published by Wolters Kluwer. Slavomir regularly speaks at insolvency conferences and seminars and teaches at universities as an expert on restructuring and insolvency.
