Diana Bellido Gomes has been promoted to partner in Geneva. Her appointment will strengthen Baker McKenzie Switzerland's M&A, private equity and corporate law practices in the Romandie region.

Baker McKenzie Switzerland has promoted Diana Bellido Gomes to partner effective 1 July 2025. In her new role as partner within the Firm's Global Reorganizations and Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Groups in Geneva, Diana will further strengthen our M&A and private equity capabilities, especially for clients based in the Romandie region of Switzerland.
Diana's practice focuses on domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, corporate reorganizations and general corporate law matters. Diana holds a bachelor's degree in law, a master's degree in economic law and a certificate of advanced studies in legal professions from the University of Geneva, as well as an LLM in international business law from King's College London. Admitted to the Swiss bar in 2016, she is fluent in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish.

Baker McKenzie also announced the promotion of 59 lawyers to partner1, effective 1 July 2025, with the exception of colleagues based in North America and some locations in Latin America, whose promotions took effect earlier in calendar year 2025. With 48 lateral partners also joining Baker McKenzie's offices1 this financial year, the Firm has added a total of 107 partners globally since 1 July 2024.
