Baker McKenzie represented ARCH Capital, an Asia Pacific real estate-focused private equity firm, on Digital Halo's acquisition of a seed asset in Manila, Philippines as part of ARCH Capital's strategic data centre partnership with Partners Group, a global private markets investment firm.

Digital Halo, the regional data centre platform founded by ARCH Capital in 2022, is expected to be jointly capitalized by Partners Group and ARCH Capital with around USD400 million. The platform will grow to over 500 MW of data center capacity and operate data centers across multiple markets in Asia.

The core Baker McKenzie team was led by Principal Theodore Heng in Singapore, who was assisted by Senior Associates Alexa Jiang and Yong Wei Tan as well as Associate Precia Lian. The Philippines aspects of the transaction was supported by Partner Charles Veloso and Associate Miguel Sanchez of Quisumbing Torres, a member firm of Baker Mckenzie.
