1. Data controller
In compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter, ‘GDPR’), we inform you that BAKER MCKENZIE BARCELONA, S.L. 2. Purpose and legal grounds of the processing
Baker McKenzie will process your personal data for the following purposes: (i) to send you information of interest to you, including invitations to events organised by Baker McKenzie, in which case the legal basis will be your consent; and (ii) to maintain our business relationship with you, if any. For the latter purpose, the legal basis for the processing of your data will be the performance of the contract for the provision of the corresponding services.
3. Data retention period
Baker McKenzie will process your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected and for as long as there is a relationship with the data subject or the processing is duly legitimised in accordance with current regulations. Once this relationship has ended, the data may be kept blocked for the applicable statutory limitation periods in order to deal with any possible liabilities and, once these have expired, it will be securely deleted.
4. Recipients of your data
Your data may be shared with third-party service providers who will act as data processors for Baker McKenzie companies.
In addition to the above, Baker McKenzie may transfer or communicate personal data in order to comply with its obligations to the Public Administrations in cases where this is required in accordance with the legislation in force at any given time and, where applicable, to other bodies such as the State Security Forces and Corps and the Judicial Bodies.

In these cases, transfers are based on standard model clauses approved by the Commission or, where applicable, on the Privacy Shield. 5. Rights of data subjects
Baker McKenzie informs you that you may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, portability and restriction of processing of your personal data free of charge, as well as your right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing. You also have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data for informational or commercial purposes, by simply notifying us of your wishes in accordance with the procedure indicated. You may also opt out of receiving such communications through the mechanism provided in each of them (for example, by clicking on the unsubscribe link included in the communication).
Furthermore, we inform you that if you consider that we have not properly responded to your request, you may contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) to request its protection or file a complaint regarding the processing of your personal data.
6. Amendment of this policy
Baker McKenzie may amend its Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable law at all times. In any case, we will inform you of any change in our Privacy Policy that could have a material impact on your privacy and data protection. If this is required by applicable regulations, we will provide you with the opportunity to reissue your consent.
