Baker McKenzie is proud to provide pro bono support to the congress in many ways. We hosted satellite events around the globe, organized selected panels for the congress, and launched several pro bono projects that were prepared in 2024 and 2025 for this event with thanks to our Justice in Action volunteers. These projects include the Violence Against Children project, Real Rights, "I Am Here" Identification and Vital Documents work.
Held every five years, the World Congress on Justice With Children addresses critical challenges faced by child justice systems. The World Congress is the place where the child rights world gets to see and utilize our pro bono work with a focus on the prevention of and addressing violence against children.
The 5th World Congress was held on 2 - 4 June 2025 in-person in Madrid, Spain, virtually, and with satellite events in various locations worldwide. See the list of sessions and satellite events that Baker McKenzie supported.
