Enoch Wan
Biography
Enoch Wan is a local principal in the Tax, Trade and Wealth Management Practice Group in Singapore. He has experience advising on both regional and Singapore tax matters, and has also worked on Hong Kong tax issues, including corporate tax and disputes before the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Board of Review and the courts.
Practice Focus
Enoch focuses on advising high net worth families on tax, trust and estate planning matters. He also works with financial institutions on the tax and legal aspects of products and services for high net worth individuals, as well as broader regulatory issues such as compliance with automatic exchange of information regimes. In addition, he advises on tax structuring and planning, including applications for tax incentives, and provides guidance on indirect taxes such as goods and services tax and stamp duty.

- Structuring advice for fund vehicles in Singapore on structuring for tax efficiency including qualifying for tax exemption or incentives, including both for private wealth clients, and also for funds, private equity funds and hedge funds.
- Advising an international apparel retail brand in tax dispute in Hong Kong.
- Advising various clients on profits tax disputes in Hong Kong.
- Advising various clients on employee tax-related issues in Hong Kong.
