Biography

Nour Tantawy is an associate at Baker McKenzie’s Cairo office (Helmy, Hamza & Partners) within the Corporate and Commercial practice. She has experience in drafting, reviewing, and researching all commercial agreements and has assisted companies operating in various sectors in routine corporate and commercial matters.

Nour received her Licence en Droit from the Faculty of Law of Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas France in 2024.

Practice Focus

Her practice focuses on corporate and commercial law, advising multinational clients on market entry, regulatory compliance (including data protection and intellectual property), employment matters, and corporate restructuring.

Advising a leading global hospitality group, on the establishment of its branch in Egypt, including compliance with applicable regulatory and licensing requirements, as well as on the termination of a hotel management agreement in relation to a local hospitality project.

Advising a prominent designer, developer, manufacturer and worldwide supplier of a broad range of semiconductor and infrastructure software products on restructuring plans post-acquisition. The advice is currently covering liquidation.
Advising an American tech-driven giant that specializes in multi-cloud management, application security, online fraud prevention, and network security for the operation of their newly established local entity in Egypt for the provision of technical support services and sales and marketing technical support services in the IT sector, as well product development activities including engineering and development of application delivery solutions.
Advising a well-known player in next-generation customer experience (CX) solutions on establishing an entity in Egypt for the purposes of setting up a call center in Egypt and providing users with other related services.
