Stefi Monika Suero
Biography
Stefi Monika Suero is an associate in the Tax Practice Group of Quisumbing Torres. Prior to joining the Firm, she gained valuable experience auditing a range of corporations and supporting clients in legal matters involving tax, labor and employment, special projects and corporate services. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Ateneo Law School and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023. She is also a Certified Public Accountant, licensed since 2017. Her dual qualifications in law and accounting enable her to deliver strategic, well-rounded advice across diverse business and regulatory issues.
Practice Focus
Stefi’s practice focuses on tax planning, tax dispute resolution and tax advisory for mergers, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations. She has conducted examinations of tax assessments issued by the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) against corporate entities, prepared memoranda on complex tax matters, and advised clients on the availment of tax incentives. She has drafted tax indemnity agreements and pleadings and represented clients in proceedings before the BIR and the Court of Tax Appeals. She also prepares documentation for BIR submissions, ensuring regulatory compliance and guiding clients through administrative processes. Her experience spans clients across diverse industries, including retail, energy, data centers, education, recruitment and digital platforms.
