Alexander Battaglia Stocker
Biography
Alexander Battaglia Stocker is a member of Baker McKenzie’s Tax Practice Group in Stockholm. His practice focuses on tax structuring and reorganisations for domestic and international corporate groups, private equity firms, and small to medium-sized enterprises.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie in 2026, Alexander worked at an audit firm where he specialised in international tax and transaction services. He has also been seconded as a tax lawyer to a large Swedish-headquartered multinational group.
Practice Focus
Alexander advises clients on Swedish and international tax matters, with a particular focus on corporate restructurings and transactions. He has experience advising on public listings, cross-border group structures, mergers, and the establishment of business operations in Sweden. In addition, Alexander advises on the tax treatment of incentive programmes and regularly supports clients in tax due diligence processes.
