
Eva C.H. Scheiwe
Biography
Eva Scheiwe is an associate in the International Tax & Global Wealth Management practice in the Zurich office of Baker McKenzie. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Eva acquired experience in U.S. federal income taxation and nonprofit law at a regional U.S. law firm and gained exposure in federal litigation as a judicial extern in a U.S. District Court. She was awarded the Rudman-Peterson Fellowship for Fiscal Policy from the Peter G. Peterson Foundation and served as a New York Pro Bono Scholar. While a student, she volunteered at a Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, assisting clients with tax controversy matters.
In addition to her tax experience, Eva has worked with a national organization on issues relating to indigenous rights and subsistence claims.
