Biography
George Patrick is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Dallas office and is a member of the North American Transactional Practice Group with a focus on M&A. George began his career with Baker McKenzie as a summer associate in 2022 and 2023.
Practice Focus
George practices in the area of corporate mergers and acquisitions as well as on various corporate, securities, finance and other transactional matters. He represents buyers and sellers in a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised Helen of Troy Limited, a NASDAQ-listed designer, developer and worldwide marketer of consumer brand-name housewares, health and home beauty products, on its USD 235 million acquisition of Olive and June, LLC, an innovative, omni-channel nail care brand trailblazing the DIY nail revolution across all nail care categories.
- Represented Bourque Logistics, a leader in rail logistics systems, on its USD 115 million acquisition of AllTranstek, L.L.C., another leading rail service provider.
- Represented a privately-held transmission and distribution utility company in numerous 144A/Reg. S offerings of senior secured notes in the aggregate amount of over USD 2.5 billion, as well as listing EUR 700 million of notes on the Global Exchange Market of Euronext Dublin.
- Assist in multijurisdictional reorganizations of major multinational corporations.
