Jorn Nagtegaal
Biography
Jorn is an experienced tax lawyer and attorney at law (advocaat), advising multinational companies and private equity funds on Dutch and international tax matters. He has a strong track record in complex national and cross-border restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, management participation structures, acquisition financing and tax disputes with the Dutch tax authorities.
Jorn started his career at Baker McKenzie in 2021.
Practice Focus
Jorn’s clients mainly consist of multinational companies in various industries as well as private equity investors. Jorn focuses primarily on cross-border restructurings, acquisition structures and the financing thereof, and tax litigation.
Representative Legal Matters
- Advised on the tax aspects of numerous national and cross-border restructurings.
- Advised on the implementation of numerous Dutch holding structures, including relevant tax rulings.
- Advised on multiple M&A deals, both from a corporate contracts and tax structuring perspective.
- Assisted multiple private equity funds with the set-up of their Dutch investment structure, including management participation.
- Multiple ongoing litigations on complex Dutch tax matters (e.g. Dutch anti-base erosion rule and hedging instruments).
- Ongoing litigation of a major transfer pricing dispute.
