Aleksandra Młoczkowska
Biography
Aleksandra gained experience in the IP field while working, amongst others, for the European Union Intellectual Property Office in Alicante where her responsibilities included issuing decisions on relative and absolute grounds for refusal of trademark registration. She acquired qualification certificates in the course of long-termed cooperation with one of the top-ranked Polish IP boutiques. Aleksandra is a member of AIPPI and INTA organizations and a lecturer in the Polish Chamber of Patent Attorneys.
Practice Focus
Aleksandra is experienced in trademark enforcement and prosecution, with a special focus on opposition and cancellation matters before Polish Patent Office and EUIPO. She advises clients in IP litigation matters regarding trademarks, designs and patents, and handles unfair competition cases.
Representative Legal Matters
- Successfully represented a Polish post services provider before the District Administrative Court in case regarding cancellation of a trademark for self-service parcel lockers.
- Represented a Polish lottery and betting services provider in recovering two domain names before Domain Arbitration Court as well as in case regarding cancellation of EU trademark.
- Represented client in invalidity proceedings before the Polish Patent Office against a patent involving production technology and construction of concrete elements for buildings. The request for invalidity was based on lack of novelty and lack of the required inventive step of the challenged patent.
- Advised one of the biggest restaurant chains on IP matters in Poland, including fighting Internet trademark infringements.
- Advised in litigation between two biggest beverage manufacturers in Poland in case regarding unfair competition (case successfully settled).
