Practice Focus
Jannice is a seasoned commercial litigator with 15 years of experience. Jannice focuses her practice on complex shareholders' disputes with cross-border elements. She advises both private and public companies in joint venture/boardroom cross-border disputes involving, for instance, investments in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and Singapore.
Jannice is experienced in advising international financial institutions, listed companies and multinational conglomerates on regulatory enquiries and investigations. Her vast experience in dealing with regulators not only helps clients navigate through the ever-evolving and complex regulatory regime amid geopolitical developments, but also assists them in thinking ahead to pre-empt potential issues and offering them peace of mind.

- Advised the majority shareholders of a group of companies with substantial manufacturing business in Mainland China in a shareholders' dispute involving companies in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Macau, BVI and Mauritius.
- Advising the majority shareholder of a joint venture with substantial business in the PRC on a dispute involving companies in the BVI, Hong Kong and Shanghai.
- Advised the majority shareholders of a gym business on a dispute concerning a breach of the shareholders' agreement and management over group companies.
- Acting for multinational conglomerates in disputes with distributors and vendors.
- Acted for a private bank in its successful defense against mis-selling claims.
- Acted for a fund manager in its successful defense against negligence claims by the investor.
- Advised leading financial institutions on regulatory enquiries and investigations and disputes with vendors
- Acted for a listed company in restructuring bonds and related claims.
- Advising listed companies, licensed corporations, responsible officers and directors on enquiries by SEHK and investigations by SFC regarding potential breaches of Listing Rules and/or offenses of providing false and misleading information.
- Advising a listed company and its management on investigations and enquiries conducted by the Financial Reporting Review Committee and the Audit Investigation Board.
