Piya Haria
Biography
Piya is a corporate lawyer in Baker McKenzie's Abu Dhabi office, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and joint ventures.
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Piya was a senior corporate lawyer at a Magic Circle firm in London. Piya has significant experience advising financial sponsors, portfolio companies and corporate clients on a range of strategic transactions. Piya has also completed secondments at Macquarie Asset Management and BP plc.

- Advised Macquarie Asset Management on various strategic fund investments, co-investments and divestments.*
- Acted for DigitalBridge and one of its portfolio companies on multiple data centre transactions.*
- Advised Tate & Lyle on the USD 1.3 billion sale of a controlling stake in its Primary Products business to KPS Capital Partners and related joint venture arrangements.*
- Advised Vodafone Group on the carve-out and EUR 12.1 billion listing of its European towers business.*
- Advised Unilever on the EUR 6.8 billion auction sale of its global spreads business to KKR.*
- Advised Reliance Industries on the acquisition of a UK battery technology company.*
