Ischa Gobius du Sart
Biography
Ischa is trademark and design attorney as well as legal advisor at Baker McKenzie Amsterdam. As both a Benelux and European trademark and design attorney and a legal advisor he is engaged in the field of trademark and design law. Ischa has wide experience in the worldwide protection of trademarks and designs, as well as in providing strategic advice on trademarks and designs, handling of opposition procedures and infringement of IP rights and portfolio management relating to intellectual property. He is also involved in legal cases concerning the infringement of trademark and design rights.
Ischa has been employed by Baker McKenzie Amsterdam since 2008. Before joining Baker McKenzie, Ischa worked as trademark attorney at Zacco Netherlands (formerly known as Shield Mark) and Intermark (merged with Knijff & Partners in 2004). He is a certified Benelux trademark and design attorney since 2001 and as European trademark and design attorney at the European Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) since 2002.
Practice Focus
Ischa advises on all aspects of trade marks and design registration and protection, which includes clearance searches, oppositions, cancellations, revocations, assignments, infringements and transactions involving intellectual property.
Ischa works on the worldwide trade mark portfolio of national companies as well as multinationals.
