Casper Evers
Biography
Casper Evers is a counsel with Baker McKenzie and has extensive experience in the field of Value Added Tax (VAT). His practice focuses on rendering advice to clients in the financial services sector, including asset managers and investment funds. He also assists multinational clients in relation to the VAT aspects of electronic commerce transactions.
Practice Focus
Casper regularly represents clients in Tax Courts, the Dutch Supreme Court, as well as the European Court of Justice. For example, Casper represented PPG in the landmark ECJ VAT case Fiscale Eenheid PPG Holdings B.V. (case no. C-26/12) . Casper also assists clients before the European Commission with regard to complaint procedures, infringement procedures and related negotiations.
