Biography

Halli Dorsainvil is a senior associate in Baker McKenzie's Antitrust & Competition Practice Group in Washington, DC.

Practice Focus

Halli routinely counsels clients on a range of antitrust issues before the Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, US courts, and foreign competition authorities. Her practice focuses on complex litigation, antitrust enforcement, and class actions. Halli provides strategic counsel for technology clients on competition and consumer protection matters including compliance with the Stored Communications Act and related defense litigation.

At Baker McKenzie, Halli serves as a co-chair of the DC Office arm of the Baker Black Attorney Network and maintains an active pro bono practice.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Represented H. Lundbeck A/S in its USD 2.6 billion acquisition of Longboard Pharmaceuticals, Inc.
  • Advised ALDI in its acquisition of Southeastern Grocers, including the Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket brands.
  • Represented individuals and corporations in criminal antitrust investigations by Department of Justice. 
  • Counsel to fashion company on compliance with third party subpoenas and trial testimony.

Corporate Responsibility

  • Counselled voters as part of Election Protection pro bono service.
  • Filed Amicus brief in 10th Circuit Appeal (co-counsel with the Center on Gender Justice & Opportunity at Georgetown Law Center).
