Biography

Christina Dines is an associate in Baker McKenzie's Miami office. Prior to joining the Firm, Christina clerked for the Honorable John L. Sinatra, Jr., of the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. In addition, she served as Senior Staff Attorney for the Honorable John D. Couriel of the Florida Supreme Court. Christina also previously worked as a litigation associate at an international law firm, where she assisted with a variety of civil and criminal matters and maintained an active pro bono practice.

Practice Focus

Christina practices in the Firm's Litigation & Government Enforcement Practice Group. She focuses her practice on complex civil litigation and compliance matters, including investigations brought by the United States Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission. Christina remains involved in the community and maintains an active pro bono practice.

Representative Legal Matters

  • Represented a Russian national in enforcing a USD 150 million arbitral award, including through successful briefing and oral argument preparation before the U.S. Supreme Court.
  • Represented an iconic American family in a high-net worth trust dispute.
  • Represented a healthcare technology company in a regulatory investigation commenced by Federal Trade Commission alleging millions of dollars in consumer harm.
  • Represented a healthcare technology company in investigating a whistleblower complaint.
  • Represented a news organization in a discrimination class action and wage and hour collective action.
