Alyssa Auberger has extensive experience in multijurisdictional M&A and Private Equity transactions and regularly advises American and French corporations, multinationals, and private equity investment funds on their acquisitions and divestitures worldwide. She joined Baker McKenzie in 1998, and became principal in July 2005. She is Franco-American and is admitted to practice in France and the US. Ms. Auberger is the first Chair of the Firm’s Consumer Goods & Retail Industry Group; she previously served on the Firm’s Global Luxury & Fashion Steering Committee, European M&A Steering Committee and led the Paris office M&A practice.
In addition to her M&A and Private Equity practice, Ms. Auberger regularly advises international groups in the luxury, fashion and beauty sector on their international expansion, corporate and commercial matters; she also assists clients in the negotiation and implementation of joint ventures, partnerships and strategic alliances, as well as in venture capital transactions involving the creation of corporate entities and the drafting and negotiating of shareholders’ agreements.
