Baker McKenzie Switzerland advised Agridence Grp Holdings Pte. Ltd. (“Agridence”), a Singapore-based leader in digital agri-commodity supply chain solutions, on its acquisition of Farmer Connect, an European compliance and traceability platform. The acquisition coincides with Agridence securing new investments and is aimed at developing a unified solution for regulatory compliance and supply chain transparency across multiple commodities.

After the acquisition, Agridence intends to continue providing a service for existing Farmer Connect customers and will work to expand the platform’s capabilities and market reach. The integration is expected to combine both companies’ compliance and traceability offerings, while maintaining current business operations.

Baker McKenzie advised Agridence on all legal and tax matters related to this transaction.
